Cornelius Ferree House
150 Cherry Hill Road Ronks, PA

Cornelius Ferree and his wife, Elizabeth Allison Ferree, built this large limestone house in 1774 from stone quarried on the farm. Two hand carved date stones were set in place. Later the house was stuccoed and the stones were covered. In 1959 the dwelling was sandblasted and remortered. At that time the stone masons uncovered the two beautiful, well preserved stones. Cornelius Ferree was a great grandson of Madame.

He was a well known maker of Conestoga wagons and early travelers would stop here to have their wagons repaired. Today it is known as "Cherry Crest Farms" and is the home of the "Amazing Maize Maze".
